SYSTEM CHANGES FOR TRANSFORMATION LEGACY USE

The London 2012 Velodrome holds 6,000 spectators and a 250m track. Vanguardia provided the system design for the installed production sound system in the venue. The system has been designed to meet the requirements of sports presentation and media whilst also complying with the regulations for building control and licensing.

The design was undertaken using 3D modelling tools combined with acoustic measurements taken in the building. This combination of real world acoustic data and modelling techniques was essential to provide a high quality system suitable for the venue's unique architecture. System schematics, schedules and construction information were produced. The installation was managed and the system commissioned by our engineers.

We provided audio system engineering during the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.
