Deni’s role with us covers a wide range of disciplines. As our Operations Manager she is instrumental in the smooth day-to-day running of our offices, provides quality assurance to the team and manages her own project work in noise and event management, working with our clients and authorities to obtain planning licences.
Her experience is vast, having worked for Local Authorities in London and the Home Counties as an Environmental Health Officer and Principal Planning Liaison Officer dealing directly with planning departments. This background has enabled her to build valuable contacts, as well as an understanding of ‘how to get things done’ and negotiate in often challenging situations.
Deni joined Vanguardia shortly after they were founded in 2006, having worked with Jim Griffiths in her previous capacity on projects including the Knebworth Concerts in 2004.
Responsible for the management of the Vanguardia Noise Team, she is the technical point of contact. Deni has used her in depth knowledge of the industry to co-author several white papers including ‘Measurement of noise levels that staff are exposed to at live music events’, prepared for the Health and Safety Executive in 2006.
