Dani Fiumicelli

Technical Director

Dani is one of Vanguardia’s newest recruits, joining us with over thirty years of experience in noise and vibration. Specialising in environmental acoustics, he has worked on key public and private projects throughout the UK.

After completing his undergraduate degree in Marine and Freshwater Biology, Dani began a sixteen-year tenure in the public sector as an Environmental Health Officer for several London councils. During this time, he also went on to achieve a Diploma in Environmental Health and a master’s degree in Environmental Acoustics.

After rising to Principal EHO for Islington Council, Dani left the public sector to work as an acoustic consultant and technical director for several of the UK’s top infrastructure firms. Throughout his career he has seen it all, working on everything from chicken farms to Tower Bridge.

An expert in all things noise and vibration, Dani is also a highly skilled communicator. He consistently solves our clients’ problems with unique technical solutions, while providing them with easily understood explanations.

Outside of acoustics, Dani was a keen rugby player for forty years, coming back to the game after one broken leg, before a second made him give up for good. These days, you’ll most likely find him fishing in his free time.
