The Middle East’s premier entertainment and sports venue
The Coca-Cola Arena located in City Walk, Dubai is the first and largest, fully air-conditioned, multi-purpose indoor arena in the Middle East. It hosted its first concert on 14 June 2019 with a sold-out concert by American rock band Maroon 5 and has subsequently held events by The 1975 and Westlife. With a design inspired by London’s O2 Arena, the space is used by promoter AEG Ogden on behalf of owner Meraas as the Middle East’s destination for major international touring acts and events across music, sport, theatre, comedy and business with a capacity of up to 17,000.

Considering multiple uses
As a trusted partner of AEG Ogden, Vanguardia have worked alongside the design team appointed by Meeras and our client to deliver a high quality concert venue with great acoustics under difficult architectural constraints.
The project was delivered with the expertise of renowned Vanguardia Consultant Joe O’Herlihy, who has over 40 years experience as the Sound Engineer for U2. We provided a full acoustic review and design. As well as the acoustic design, we carried out numerous on site inspections, commissioning all final measurements for the building and provided technical assurance of all contractors work.
